“We couldn’t be happier that we’ve found Dympna, Kieran, and the Devoy family! We’ve attended many schools, looking to foster my daughter’s love of dance, but none were able to accommodate her special needs. We’ve finally found a home, with Devoy. In less than a year, she has flourished under both Kieran and Dympna’s teachings and her confidence has soared. We were immediately welcomed, by everyone, and have already created amazing friendships. All of these factors, combined, got my daughter from zero experience to feis ready in just two semesters!
The classes are fun, inclusive, has a ton of student collaboration, and are affordable. Both locations are convenient (and accessible by public transit!), clean, and safe. We love how diverse the students are too! Devoy really has made Irish dance accessible for everyone, regardless of age, ability, or background. We are so glad we found them, and look forward to many, many years of incredible memory making with them!”

I’ve had the pleasure of dancing with DeVoy for the past 3+ years. Dympna and Kieran are such kind people. The whole atmosphere of the school is definitely family and fun oriented. I danced with several competitive Irish dance schools before coming here and by far I’ve had the best overall experience at DeVoy because of the people. Everyone really does feel like family. We also have the choice to dance in shows and festivals, which is a ton of fun and really gives each dancer and family the opportunity to get to know each other better and create stronger friendships. If you’re looking for an Irish dance school that teaches in a fun and supportive environment, I’d recommend DeVoy.
The DeVoy Academy of Irish Dance really is a family first.
